Knowledge for children

The project:

NGO knowledge for children, our client, has asked us to design something that will help them to raise

money for schools in Uganda. Our product must be something useful for the costumers, it must be
innovative, eco-friendly, and more. We will begin this project by firstly researching what our customers
find important and their needs. After that we’ll start by making a concept for the product and work that
out to a prototype. Lastly, we will test it if it is successful on the market. After that we’ll write a final
report about the whole process and our experience.

Our client:

Knowledge for Children was founded in 2005 by Arnold Roozenbeek and Maimo Jacob. During his
volunteer period in Cameroon, Arnold realised that there was still a great deal of sustainable
improvement in education in primary schools. Often, for example, there are often no textbooks
available. The schoolbooks-project was created together with retired education inspector Maimo Jacob
from Cameroon. Maimo was eager to do something for his country and community and has an extensive
knowledge of the problems in the schools in this area. He also found that schools that have the support
of the local community are more successful, and that the local community is often willing to invest in the
schools as well.

Our Client/contact at Knowledge for Children is Ties Obers. He is the
director at K4C and has been a monthly donator since 2015. In 2022
he started working for the company.
